Editorial Policy
This page explains, plainly, how Rokazu.com builds its coffee shop listings and local guides, what our sources are and what you should not expect from us.
1. Our sources
- Café details (name, address, phone number, opening hours, photo): taken from each café’s public Google Business Profile on Google Maps at the time the page was compiled. Every listing shows the month it was compiled and links to that profile.
- Café websites and social profiles: linked when the café publishes them.
- Background on places: city and state guides link to Wikipedia for general information about the area.
- Context on Indian coffee: the Coffee Board of India, the official body for the coffee sector.
2. No ratings, no reviews
Rokazu does not publish star ratings, scores or customer reviews, and it does not summarise other people’s reviews. Those belong to the platforms where they were written. Each listing links to the café on Google Maps if you want to read visitors’ opinions.
3. How the descriptions are written
The descriptions of cafés and the introductions to city and state guides are written with the help of AI writing tools, from the public information listed above. They are general summaries, not first-hand reviews: we have not visited every café we list. We have removed ratings, review summaries and question-and-answer sections that relied on unverified claims (for example about Wi-Fi or reservations).
4. Independence
Rokazu is an independent, unofficial website. It is not affiliated with Google, with the Coffee Board of India or with any café, chain or brand it mentions. No café pays to be listed or to change how it appears. The site is funded by display advertising from Google AdSense; ads are separate from the content and do not influence it.
5. Accuracy and corrections
Cafés open, close and change their hours, so some details will go out of date. Please confirm with the café before an important visit. If you find an error, use the correction link on any listing or email contact@rokazu.com with the page link; café owners can also ask us to update or remove their listing.
